Open Positions
Controls Technician
In this position, in-depth experience with CNC/PLC machine tool controls is a must. Your primary focus will be the control and electrical component portion of machine repair/rebuild/retrofit projects, both in our shop and at customer facilities. Must be willing and able to travel, have a valid driver’s license, and own basic hand tools.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Minimum 3 years industrial machine control/electrical experience required; related Technical School certificate/degree preferred.
- Strong background in FANUC Control Systems, including specifying and installing related components (e.g. control modules, drives, servos, etc.)
- Proficiency in ladder logic/G & M code programming, including troubleshooting a wide variety of machine tool controls/problems.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical wiring methods and safe practice.
- Well-versed in reading machine-related diagrams and wiring schematics.
- AutoCAD experience preferred for control/electrical system documentation.
- Must be a good communicator (both written and verbal) and be comfortable interacting with customers.
Electrical Field Service Technician
In this position, machine-related electrical experience is a must. You will be working on machine tools both in our shop and at customer facilities. Must be willing and able to travel, have a valid driver’s license, and own basic hand tools.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Minimum 3 years industry experience is preferred.
- Must have experience in troubleshooting/specifying/installing electrical machine tool hardware, including servos, motors, drives, etc.
- Knowledge in FANUC, Allen-Bradley, and other PLC controls.
- Fluent in electrical schematics and related machine diagrams.
- Skilled in panel wiring and electrical assembly.
- Well-versed in machine tool/electrical codes and safety practices.
- Forklift and crane operation a plus.
Mechanical Field Service Technician
In this position, mechanical experience and aptitude are a necessity. You will be working on machine tools both in our shop and at customers’ facilities. Must be willing and able to travel, have a valid driver’s license, and own basic hand tools.
Specific Qualifications Include:
- Minimum 3 years’ industry experience is preferred.
- Must have troubleshooting and repair experience with mills, lathes, grinders, presses, etc.
- Well-versed in machine tool components/systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, ball screws, gearboxes, etc.)
- Able to use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, indicators).
- Familiarity with machine tool leveling and alignment, as well as machine tool maintenance practices.
- Must be a good communicator (written and verbal) and be comfortable with customers.
